Vision: People, Passion, Potential
Manthan Valley St. Albert’s School will be widely recognised as a leading educational institution in Rajdhanwar/Giridih region, impacting the world from its Indian Chota-Nagpur context. Our diverse student body and talented staff will be explore their own learnings. Our educational approach will be relevant, innovative and inspiring, built upon values. We will graduate self-directed and reflective young people with a passion and curiosity for life, equipped for leadership and influence throughout the world. Through highly engaged staff, and with the support of wide networks of alumni and partner institutions, Our school will become a beacon of excellence in our region and beyond – holding out a uniquely effective educational vision of hope and possibility.
We firmly believe that every human child is capable of learning to live in a society. Learning for them is a discovery of their “self”, the world around them and to share it with their peers, teachers and parents as well. Further in our belief system this learning is a life -long process and we therefore seek to get involve in students, parents, teachers & the society at large, the sheer sense of joy.
By the time children are in school, they have already understood a lot about other people, things around them, their preferences, beliefs and emotions. To help children channeling this innate quality we work a lot to plan a curriculum and pedagogy which meet the requirements individually and in a group .Eventually it helps learners to become happy and responsible citizens of the world community.
Our vision is to create a school where teachers and student learn together and flower in goodness.
“The mind of the child is always alert, restless and eager to receive firsthand knowledge from Mother Nature. Children should be surrounded with the things of nature which have their own educational value. Their minds should be allowed to stumble upon and surprised at everything that happens in today life”.
THE FOUR PILLARS
Emerging from Manthan Valley’s Vision are Four Pillars which serve as the foundation for the future of Manthan valley St. Albert’s School. Unless we accomplish these four projects, nothing else we do will matter. Whether it is re-imagining our learning spaces, creating a place for independent study and mentoring relationships, expanding the scope of student diversity or providing transforming education through community engagement, these initiatives are essential if we are to accomplish the objectives of the Vision.
1. LEARNING SPACES
To facilitate the interdisciplinary curricular and experiential pedagogical goals of a our education by creating spaces that provide the appropriate infrastructure.
2. CENTRE FOR IMAGINATION
Creating a space and resources for mentored students, independent research and projects. Resources include workshops, speakers and seminars that could connect students to ideas, relevant outside research and supportive mentors, including our alumni.
3. STUDENT DIVERSITY
To design, launch and implement an expanded scholarship programme to recruit for talent and diversity across a wider range of ‘diversity parameters’ including those of creed, colour, culture and social-economic indicators as well as nationalities.
4. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
